Sightseeing of Ljubljana
Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia. It was founded by Illyrians between 1000 and 500 BC as Emona.
Today Ljubljana offers a lot to a visitor. Discover the baroque old town with its bridges, churches and buildings, taste the exquisite Slovenian cuisine and wines, and join the people strolling along the streets.There are numerous shops with excellent shopping, rich and diversified cultural life and good traffic connection with neighbouring countries.

Bled and Bohinj
An Alpine lake surrounded by the high peaks, Bled was discovered by tourists in the middle of the last century, after a Swiss, Mr. Arnold Rikli, has built a climactic health centre there.
Bled is often mentioned as the pearl of the Alpine region due to its emerald-green lake, a church on an island in the middle of the lake and a medieval castle from 11th century on a cliff above the lake. You will visit the Bled Castle and take a boat ride with “pletnas” to the Bled Island.

Postojna caves and predjama castle  
A two million years old and 27 km long system of subterranean caves is one of the most easily accessible network of underground caves in the world. A ride by electricity powered train will be followed by a guided walk through a series of caves with stalactites, stalagmites, pillars and translucent curtains that create unforgettable impressions, and the underground waters are the home of the world’s unique, rate, and endangered species of the amphibian Proteus Anguinus, or “human fish” as it is popularly called here.
After the visit of the caves stop at a local farm to taste the typical Karst specialities  - the dried ham “prosciutto” and the ruby-red wine Teran. A few kilometres from the entrance to Postojna cave stands one of the most picturesque buildings in the whole of Slovenia. Predjama Castle hangs dramatically in the middle of a 123 metre cliff – a four storey structure almost arrogant in its simplicity, but unconquered and uncompromising. Although the current building dates from the end of the 16th century, a castle has stood on this site since the year 1201.

Portorož and Piran  
Piran is one of the most beautiful cities on Slovenian coast where you can admire the fascinating Venetian architecture. From this lovely medieval town you will be able to see the entire Slovenian coast as well as shores of Italy and Croatia. After a walking tour of Piran, fish picnic on the boat.
A contrast to the historic Piran represents Portorož - the most popular Slovene sea resort that you will discover during your free time.

The Karst Region
You will be able to admire the magnificent Karst region in the South Western part of Slovenia. The visit of Štanjel village with a typical karst architecture will be followed by a degustation of dried ham “pršut” and famous red wine Teran at a Karst farm. The trip will continue to the cradle of the Lippizan horses where you will visit the stables and see a performance of the Spanish riding school.

Venice
With catamaran Prince of Venice you will arrive in ca 2,5 hours to Venice where an English-speaking guide will lead you through the streets of the “floating city”, situated in a lagoon with 118 islets. You will see San Marco’s square, the mighty Doge’s Palace, Rialto Bridge and other interesting sights of the city. After the guided city tour and tourist lunch you will have the rest of the afternoon free for individual enterprise.  Late afternoon you will board the catamaran again and return to the Slovenian coast, where your bus  will be waiting for you to take you back to Ljubljana.

The Alpine Region
Day 1:
Ride to Bled and Bohinj  - Bled is often mentioned as the pearl of the Alpine region due to its emerald-green lake, a church on an island in the middle of the lake and a medieval castle from 11th century on a cliff above the lake. You will visit the Bled Castle and take a boat ride with “pletnas” to the Bled Island. After lunch in a typical Slovene Inn drive to Bohinj - the largest glacial lake in Slovenia situated in the Alpine region with the highest Slovene peak (Mt. Triglav) rising above it. Stop to visit the small medieval church full of exquisite frescoes. Continue on foot to the interesting Savica Waterfall, hidden on the edge of the mountains about 15 minutes’ walk from the lake.
Coach ride to Kranjska Gora, the oldest winter tourist resort of Slovenia with famous ski slopes, organising competitions of world ski cup and hosting the ski elite. Overnight stay.
Day 2:
From Kranjska Gora a coach ride to the spring of the Sava River (Zelenci) and the nearby Planica with the world-wide celebrated ski jumps. Crossing the Mountain pass Vršič to the beautiful Trenta Valley. Trenta is the heart of the Triglav National Park, covering an enormous territory of the Alpine region. A visit to the Trenta Museum will be followed by a coach ride to Bovec, another famous ski resort. After lunch, the rest of the afternoon off for individual enterprise. Overnight stay.
Day 3:
Coach ride through the Soča Valley, one of the most magnificent areas in Slovenia where one can admire the crystal purity of mountain waters. Running through the Triglav National Park, the breathtaking Soča River is, owing to its unique emerald colour, considered as one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. The river runs through deep and narrow hollows in the rock base, creating pools, rapids and channels. Situated at the meeting point of nations, the Soča Valley was the scene of some important historic events. Many collections can be found in the museum of the 1st World War in Kobarid. After lunch in the surroundings of Tolmin you will visit a traditional cheese-making farm. Late afternoon ride back to Ljubljana.


 Day 1: Ljubljana – Bled - Bohinj – Savica Waterfall – Kranjska gora
 Day 2: Kranjska Gora –Planica – Vrsič - Trenta Valley – Bovec
 Day 3: Bovec – Kobarid – Tolmin - Most na Soči – Ljubljana
