The Bled golf course has the longest tradition in Slovenia, going back to 1937. Many consider it one of the most beautiful courses in Europe. With over 100 hectares of grounds and two courses designed by Donald Harradine, it is also one of the biggest. Bled’s unique natural environment, crowned by Stol, the highest mountain in the Karavanke mountain range, and the special form of the course offer plenty of excitement for everyone, from beginners to experienced amateurs and professionals. Golfers can choose between two courses: the 18-hole King’s Course and the new 9-hole Lake Course. Another nine holes are to be added to the Lake Course in the coming years.
Night play is possible as well. Bled also features a driving range for long strokes and short strokes as well as a pitching and putting green. Golfers can also enter the renowned Bled golf school. The Bled course hosts a number of tournaments, including the PGA European Ladies Tour, the PGA European Challenge Tour, Pro-Am tournaments, and tournaments for amateur golfers. The golf course has become the scene of many activities and is a starting point for excursions that will vary the days of golfers and their family members including trips with four-wheel-drive vehicles, carriage rides, helicopter rides to other golf courses, archery, and more.
