Golf Grad (Castle) Otočec is is one of the most exciting sports challenges in Slovenia. It is located near Otočec Castle, the only water castle in Slovenia, which is now a prestigious castle hotel.

The golf course, with its 49 bunkers and three water hazards, was designed by British course architect Howard Swan, who has a remarkable feeling for placing dynamic golf courses amid unspoilt landscapes. He combined the challenges of the game with the lush forests of Dolenjska region, which hide away the dynamic fairways and large though relatively easy greens. The longest hole is 568 metres, the shortest 138 metres. The course also has a short-game practice range, a practice range for long and short shots, a putting green, and a pitching green with a bunker.
